About Charlie Wilson OBE

I have over 35 years’ experience working with people in a variety of coaching, mentoring and facilitating roles. I have been a successful leader in a wide range of situations and an integral member of a variety of high-performing teams. Building on over 30 years experience in the military, over the past 9 years I have worked with people from the banking sector, education, politics, the nuclear industry and the aerospace industry, addressing their concerns about leadership, teamworking and personal development. I have come to understand how the principles of sustained high-performance that the UK military employ can transfer into other arenas. Some of the challenges facing military officers are unique to their situation, many of them are similar to the leadership and management issues facing executives in all walks of life. The more senior the level, the more similar those issues become.
